Students and staff enjoy the rooftop patio on beautiful Richmond days.
Students find the colorful blocks on the main floor perfect for concepting sessions.
Main Floor Couches
This area of the main floor is generally a quiet place to do work or just hang out.
The Brandcenter honors its major donors and friends of the school.
Students thrive on natural light.
Fishbowl Conference Room
Faculty and students share this conference room, which also serves as interview space for recruiters.
Not your typical historic Richmond building.
The walls of this conference room and workspace on the main floor can be raised to the ceiling for an open feel.
Just outside the media library and faculty office space, students can meet and review awards annuals, trade publications, pop culture magazines, agency and directors' reels, and other resources.
Renowned architect Clive Wilkinson has designed the Brandcenter’s
new home. Creative spaces are his specialty, having designed offices
for TBWA\Chiat\Day, Mother Advertising, London, the Googleplex, and
California Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. See the Brandcenter building come to life.
Our new building sits on VCU's Monroe Park Annex. All Brandcenter
students have access to the VCU libraries, gyms, places to eat, etc.
on the Monroe Park Campus.
VCU is located in downtown Richmond, Virginia. The city is historic, hip,
and easy to love. Trendy areas bustle with boutiques, cafes and upscale outdoor fashion parks. Nightlife hotspots range from martini bars to corner pubs. Richmond is home to a vibrant arts community, and the local music scene spans different genres and styles. Richmond's temperate climate means an abundance of outdoor events, including river-front festivals, concerts, athletic events, and outdoor shops and markets.
